Nalongo is a widow living in a small house together with her two handicapped sons. She is bothered by very painful inflammations in her legs and feet caused by jiggers. Jiggers are sandflees that crawl into the skin and lay their eggs there. Apollo asked the Joanne Foundation to finance a concrete floor in her house, which we did. Now the floor is easy to clean for Nalongo and jiggers don’t bother her anymore, resulting in no more inflammations.
