During our visits to Uganda Henry is always our driver, the rest of the year he is a taxi driver. Due to the strict corona measures taxis are forbidden to transport passengers so Henry lost his income.

But Henry is a enterprising person: he has started a small shop selling components for bicycles, motorbikes and cars. He also has some mechanics who are able to repair these bicycles and motorbikes. To start his business he needed a large loan from the bank. The Joanne Foundation wants to help him financially because this enterprise fits our aim about selfsufficiency. We hope his business will be a success sothat he will be able to provide for his family again.
