Half a year ago the Joanne Foundation started this daycare for children with a handicap.Twice a week four children go to the JCC where they play, sing and make music under the supervision of Jane and Innocent. For the children there is a “customized” program but more important, these children are not isolated anymore and are able to play with other children.

We enjoyed watching Yiga, Rehema, Diane and Charity having a good time. Yiga emerges as a sort of assistant for Jane and Innocent and tries to teach the handicapped girls all sorts of things. The always so very quiet Diane walks around with a big smile and Charity is dancing all the time. Rosemary almost always joins the girls at the JCC and plays and makes music with them. It is obvious that Rosemary enjoys this very much and is glad that she can share some of the care of the two girls with Jane and Innocent.
Rehema enjoys playing with the other children very much. The Joanne Foundation is happy to see that so much has been achieved in so short a period.
