Uganda has two seasons: the dry and the wet season. Due to climate changes, you see that the dry seasons are often drier than usual and the wet seasons are also much wetter. The rainy season has now started again. The heavy rain showers have a major effect on public life, because the roads are impassable and everything comes to a temporary standstill. Streets turn into fast-flowing rivers, recently planted crops wash away and in the many poorly built houses the water flows along the walls and through the house.
When Henry went to deliver food parcels, his car also got stuck in the mud. Fortunately, he was able to continue on his way with the help of a few passers-by.
Fortunately, once the rain stops, everything dries up fairly quickly and the damage can be repaired.
