After our visit to Uganda last year, we told you about the unsafe situation at the Little Stars School. The walls started to cumble and were on the verge of tumbling down. Some renovation work was done and in May the calssrooms were safe again.
Except visiting the Little Stars School, we also visited four other schools and we met twelve children sponsored by the Joanne Foundation. The Joanne Foundation sponsors 20 children spread out over 10 schools so we had to make a choice.
We talked with the teachers and the principals, we saw the work made by the children and we listened to singing and watched dancing students.
We were very happy to find out that “our” children were happy and healthy and performing wellat school.
