The graduation party for students who pass from Nursery class to Primary school is a nice tradition in Uganda. The children wear a robe and a mortar board and receive a certificate. We are proud of the wonderful reports of Ruben and especially Owen, the boy with Down syndrom. It is not normal for handicapped children to go to a primary school in Uganda. We are very happy that the St. John Paul Mugwanya School gives Owen the chance to get an education at this school. He enjoys going to school and has lots of fun with his classmates.
