We were very surprised when we saw Rehema running towards us with outstretched arms. Almost two years ago this little girl was very heavily malnourished and she came close to dying. After an intensive program of adequate diets, physiotherapy and lots of love and patience from Jane, Rehema was able to take her first steps. Now she can run and dance and is a healthy four-year-old toddler.
Rehema is not able to talk yet but Jane is working hard to help her. Hanifa, Rehema’s blind mother, is very happy that her children are doing well. We had never seen her so relaxed and happy before.
